Taurine is an amino acid-like compound naturally occurring in animal tissues, essential in cat nutrition and valuable for dogs in specific dietary situations.

Dose
Cats: 250–500 mg daily in all foods.
Cats on a BARF diet: 0.5–1.0 g / 1 kg of meat.
Dogs: 40 mg / 10 kg of body weight. daily as needed for dietary needs (e.g., heart disease, cooked diet).
Dogs on a BARF diet: as recommended by a veterinarian.
Administer diluted. Dissolve the measured portion in clean, cool water and add to food or mix with moist food.
