Additional information
With intensive feeding, colour improvement is already visible after about two weeks. Despite the red carotenoids used in Astacolor, all colours of the fish are enhanced. If blue discus are kept, frequent use of colour-enhancing foods will result in red colouration. Natural colour pigments have a positive effect not only on colouration, but also on the immune system, maturation, reproduction and overall condition of the fish. Due to the continuous consumption of carotenoids in various physiological processes, their constant presence in fish food is necessary as they are not synthesised in the body.
