Additional information
Farmina Vet Life Natural Diet is the first natural veterinary diet. Only natural antioxidants - tocopherol-rich, extracts of natural origin - are used to fix the products. Composed using prazibos (spelt and oats), the completely GMO-free products have a very low glycaemic index compared to traditionally used cereals, i.e. rice or maize. As a result, Farmina Vet Life Natural Diet provides better post-meal glycaemic control.
Reduced protein content (but high biological content).
The reduced calcium and phosphorus content reduces the concentration of these substances in the urine.
Low nucleic acid content reduces the risk of stone formation.
Alkaline urinary pH through the action of potassium citrate.
Increased non-protein calories.
Farmina Vet Life Oxalate contains small amounts of calcium and vitamin D3 to reduce oxalate stone formation. The low protein and sulphur amino acid content reduces the risk of urate and cystine stone formation. The alkaline pH of the urine achieved by the action of potassium citrate increases the point of crystal formation. The Oxalate diet contains small amounts of copper, reducing the risk of its toxic effects in case of excessive accumulation in the liver.
