Tropical Aqua Care aquarium preparations facilitate the setting up and maintenance of the aquarium. They are a source of trace elements, essential for the proper functioning of fish organisms, and nutrients for aquatic plants, ensuring their lush growth and healthy appearance. An important group of preparations are those for treating and preparing tap water for aquarium purposes. This is important because most aquarists use tap water disinfected with chlorine or its compounds, which are toxic to fish. Such water requires special treatment to make it safe for aquarium inhabitants.

If possible, we recommend bathing the fish in a separate aquarium, which makes it much easier to observe them. Symptoms which indicate the occurrence of galls in the aquarium: small white spots on the calves, frayed fins, fish rubbing against the substrate and decoration, visible clouding of the body due to overproduction of mucus. After the fish have finished bathing in water with aquarium preparations, remove any residual product by performing regular large water changes and placing Tropical Coco Carb activated carbon in the filter. Then apply Tropical Multimineral and Tropical Bacto-Active preparations.

Recommended for use in a separate tank.
After use in the general aquarium, use Tropical Coco Carb, Bacto-Active and Multimineral.

In the general aquarium - long term bath (7-14 days) 10 ml / 100 l of water. After three days, change 20% of the water and top up with 5 ml / 100 l of water. Repeat the procedure two more times. After this time, the cul-de-sac should disappear. Bathing temperature: from 27°C to 30°C. When using Ichthyos, strongly aerate the aquarium water. Once the treatment is complete, remove any residual product by regular water changes and filtration through Coco Carb activated carbon. Follow up with Multimineral and Tropical Bacto-Active. Caution: Do not use at the same time with other aquarium preparations.
