Hydrolysed collagen - the basic protein that builds joint cartilage, tendons and ligaments. Collagen supports the proper development, nourishes and regenerates joints and other connective tissues in the body. It provides free amino acids, peptides and collagen fibres necessary for collagen synthesis in the body. Supplemented in cases of arthritis in dogs, it improves joint mobility and flexibility and visibly reduces pain. Contains mainly collagen types I, II, V and XI.

Native type II collagen - the most important type of collagen for articular cartilage. It can even make up more than 50% of the dry weight of cartilage. Reduces pain and inflammation in the joints.

Dosage of
Supportively in joint disorders: 1g (1/2 scoop) per 5kg of dog's body weight for a minimum of 30 days or until symptoms resolve. Thereafter, the dose may be reduced to 0.5g (1/4 scoop) for every 5kg of body weight. A portion of the product should be mixed with any food before serving. 1 measuring cup included in the package holds 2g of product.
