Tropical Multimineral 100ml - Product description
Tropical Aqua Care aquarium preparations facilitate the setting up and maintenance of the aquarium. They are a source of microelements, essential for the proper functioning of fish organisms, and nutrients for aquatic plants, ensuring their lush growth and healthy appearance. An important group of preparations are those for treating and preparing tap water for aquarium purposes. This is important because most aquarists use tap water disinfected with chlorine or its compounds, which are toxic to fish. Such water requires special treatment to make it safe for aquarium inhabitants.
Both fish and aquatic plants continuously take up micronutrients from the water, which are essential for many vital processes, causing a steady decrease in the concentration of these substances in the water. The resulting elemental deficiencies are the cause of many diseases and often irreversible growth abnormalities in fish. In order to counteract element deficiencies, we recommend using Multimineral with every water change and additionally during periods of increased demand for these elements, e.g. during convalescence and preparations for spawning, after using activated carbon in the aquarium, etc.
