- MALAWI multi-ingredient flake food for mbuna cichlids from Lake Malawi.
TROPICAL Malawi
MALAWI multi-ingredient flake food for Lake Malawi mbuna cichlids. A multi-ingredient flake food with a high proportion of plant ingredients (spinach, nettle, spirulina, wheat germ, etc.) designed for daily feeding of Lake Malawi mbuna cichlids. The long intestine of these cichlids functions properly thanks to the high fiber content in the food, which protects the fish from constipation and gastrointestinal inflammation, which is dangerous to the fish's health. Active substances contained in spirulina and nettle also support the digestive process. Green peas are a source of easily digestible plant protein. Unsaturated fatty acids, responsible for maintaining healthy skin and strengthening its protective barrier, come from wheat germ, among other sources. The addition of L-carnitine supports fat metabolism, providing fish with additional energy and reducing the risk of fat accumulation. The excellent palatability of MALAWI flakes makes them readily eaten even by wild-caught fish. The exceptionally varied formula ensures excellent condition and beautiful coloration for fish that regularly receive it, and promotes spawning.
