Tetra Algizit effectively combats green, brown and red algae, as well as red algae and bearded algae. At the same time, when used as directed, Tetra Algizit is safe for all aquarium organisms, plants and microorganisms. As the active ingredient is immediately released into the aquarium water, Tetra Algizit can quickly combat algae. The product does not discolour the aquarium water. Tetra Algizit is suitable for all freshwater aquariums. When using the product, the aquarium should be aerated, for example using the Tetra APS aquarium pump, to ensure the correct amount of oxygen. Dead algae should be removed mechanically, using a net, so as not to adversely affect water quality.
