AQUAEL Advanced Soil Shrimp Substrate 3l - Product description
The use of H.E.L.P. ADVANCED SOIL SHRIMP allows to maintain in the aquarium a carbonate hardness of up to 3°d and a pH of 5.5-6.5. These conditions allow breeding of the popular dwarf shrimps of the Caridina cf. cantonensis species and the demanding, highly selected varieties of the "Taiwan" class (e.g. Panda, King Kong, Red Wine), as well as most other freshwater shrimps of the genera Caridina and Neocaridina.
The substrate releases large amounts of humic acids into the water, which have a very good effect on the reproductive processes of these crustaceans (increase the willingness to reproduce, facilitate maturation of eggs and hatching and rearing of young shrimps). The product favourably influences the growth of aquarium plants, which are an indispensable component of the shrimps' natural environment.
