Anti-Herpes is a product containing L-lysine, an amino acid essential for cats of all ages, which performs a number of important functions in their bodies.
It supports the stimulation of immunity in cats during periods of increased risk of herpesvirus symptoms (stress, reduced immunity, weakness, contact with strangers). It is used prophylactically in kittens exposed to feline herpesvirus type 1 infection.

Dosage
It is recommended to administer the following amounts of the product during the animal's meal:
Kittens: – ½ level scoop x 2 per day.
Adult cats: – 1 level scoop x 2 per day.

L-lysine, either directly or as a component of many biologically active compounds, affects bone structure, the nervous system, the circulatory system, cell aging processes, and the immune system – increased lysine concentration disrupts the replication process of herpesvirus, may reduce the severity of infection symptoms, and limit the spread of FHV-1 virus.
Due to the fact that L-lysine is involved in so many processes in the cat's body, its deficiencies can manifest themselves non-specifically in the form of anemia, hair loss, or weakened immunity. The consequences of L-lysine deficiencies in the diet include muscle atrophy and disruption of protein biosynthesis.
If the diet is based solely on dry food, it should be slightly moistened so that the powder sticks to the food and is consumed by the animal.
